Draeger/Swede Survival Systems Phase 3 Backdraft Simulator
The Phase 3 container system is a demonstration system only. No one enters this container during the demonstration. This container uses only class A combustibles to create a low pressure smoke explosion, also known as a backdraft. The Instructors can point out this puffing, pushing smoke behavior, which is followed by the smoke being sucked back into the fire room prior to backdraft. The expansion of the smoke, followed by a low pressure explosion pushes a fire ball out the front door twenty feet or more!
