Absolutely OUTSTANDING speech! I've been in the service for 2-1/2 years, and I wish someone had told me at least half of what this man said here. I can't even say enough for this man, and what he's teaching. Anyone who really listens to this and takes it to heart will go far. Great speech Chief.

Wow, This should be watched by everyone in the fire service. I wish someone had said this to me 26 years ago.

BillyG - Wow. OUTSTANDING speech. Damn I love it when an old fire dog (like me, only oldER...) can put the job into words so eloquently. Most of this was "instructed" to me by my leadership 30 years ago, and it all holds true today. THANK YOU. Missed you in Fairbanks, AK last week! Damn.
