I'm guessing they decided that they needed to make a right turn and figured they would try the lights only. No siren, no emergency. The "open door" is only a stainless steel trim piece that runs the door frame to protect the paint, not an open door. More interesting is the guy in the back seat that stands up and repeatedly leans forward. NO SEATBELT! I would think Pinellas Park would be investigating the situation.

Definitely use a siren to get through the traffic. Or maybe get someone out to stop traffic.

Dumb! This doesn't look legit. It appears they are just going to make a right hand turn. By law, you have to an audiable sound to break traffic. It does appear that the passenger rear door is ajar. If this was a real run, I hope they found the siren button and made it safely.

One other thing, is it just me, or is the passenger rear door ajar...

In Colorado, the Siren is required to be used in conjunction with Lights, while responding Emergent.

Good way to get sued, someone killed or injuried, and tear up an expensive engine. I place more blame on the officer. Its his job to run the sirens and airhorn. SAFTEY, SAFTEY, SAFTEY !!!

EXACTLY. I'M AN EVOC INSTRUCTOR IN TN. NO SIREN MEANS NO EMERGENCY.

Why isn't the siren/air horn being used? In Michigan in order to be recognized as a responding/moving emergency vehicle, emergency lights and siren must be activated. I don't have a lot of sympathy for these guys. It would be different if they were in full emergency response.
