Have to agree with prorope and NEWT1972's postings, ff619 your attitude is what gets firefighters injured or even killed. I am sick and tired of hearing about command personnel that put firefighters at risk for a structure that will be bulldozed down anyway.

From what I see, the wires have burnt off the side of the house already, so it would take an energy company tech to shut the line down on the pole.
Best to post someone to watch over the line to keep other personnel from coming in contact with the line.
But fire service usually do not cut power at pole.
House is a loss, so stay away from it.

Well Im only guessing that the power to the building is shut off being that that's the service line TO the building laying on the ground. And, who the hell cares if it burns to the ground? It's already a total loss. It's already contained.

Why has no one turned the power off to this building so that they can start gettin water on this fire i mean are you just gonna let it burn all the way to the ground. Good video to show live wires but bad video showing fire suppresion and containment.
