HEY MY NAME IS SYLVIA. IM A HARD OF HEARING (DEAF) VOLUNTEER AT KINGSLAND FIRE AND RESCUE. IM IN TRAININGS FOR WHATEVER I NEED TO TAKE. THERE IS FIRE FIGHTING 1 CLASS COMING UP SOON... I WAS LOOKING SO MUCH FORWARD TO IT BUT I WAS DISAPPOINTED WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT MY COCHLEAR IMPLANT TECHNIQUE IS NOT WATERPROOF OR FIREPROOF (HEAT). SO I CANT GO INTO A LIVE BURN FIRE STRUCTURE AT ALL. BECAUSE OF THE TECHNIQUE ISSUE. NOT BECAUSE OF HEARING. I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH I CAN HEAR IN THE LIVE BURN. BUT I ...
