$4.2M simulator on Randalls Island trains FDNY for high-rise fires
Funded largely by actor Denis Leary's association, the Leary Firefighter Foundation, the $4.2 million facility will be formally unveiled Thursday.
All FDNY engine and ladder companies will train at the facility over the next several months.
